Women over 60 claim certain No7 serum is their ‘secret’ to decades younger looking skin

A skincare enthusiast has claimed that the “secret to looking decades younger” is an anti-ageing serum from Boots. Women over 60 have been praising this anti-ageing product, calling it their “secret” to youthful skin. This powerful serum is said to give quick, visible results when applied directly to lines and wrinkles – with some saying it’s taken up to 10 years off their face.

The No7 product, which claims to reduce even the deepest wrinkles, costs £34.95.

Back in April 2017, their No7 Line Correcting Booster serum was so popular that 17,500 people across the UK joined an online waiting list to get it. It was the first product from the Laboratories range and made a big splash as their most powerful age-defying solution yet.

The serum has over 800 five-star reviews from shoppers who say it’s their secret to looking younger. Some have even given up on the idea of botox in favour of this “life-changing” No7 product.

One happy customer wrote: “I am 79 in July but I get complimented constantly on my youthful skin. All down to No7,” while another said: “I am 78 and people don’t believe me when I tell them. I have used all No7 products for years and I am now benefiting from it.”

A person shared their story: “I have been using this serum for three years. I’m 60 this August and everyone asks what my secret is. I always tell them about this amazing serum. If you want to look up to 10 years younger, try it. Well worth the money.”

The special ingredient in the serum is Matrixyl 3000+, which is No7’s strong mix of peptides that helps skin stay stretchy and bouncy, something that gets less as we age.

This serum works on six main wrinkle areas the forehead, around the eyes, lips, between the eyebrows, under the eyes, and the lines from the nose to the mouth.

Another happy customer said: “Omg, this serum has been life-changing. I’d been trying to save up for Botox but with the cost of living crisis, it was impossible so thought I’d give the booster serum a try. I had low expectations to be honest as my forehead wrinkles were quite stubborn, but wow, I’ve only been using it 10 days, morning and night and already seen that the lines are less noticeable which in turn has really boosted my self-confidence.”

You should put No7 Serums under your moisturiser so it can go deep into your skin. You just need a little bit, like the size of a pea, twice a day, and the 15ml tube lasts a long time. You can also mix a drop or two into your moisturiser, eye cream, or foundation to make those products work even better at smoothing lines.

However, not everyone was thrilled with the results after using the serum, with one person commenting: “I have been using this for over a month but no difference at all. Was told it was like Botox in a bottle. Unfortunately not.”

Remember, you might not see instant results from the serum – but Boots says 83 percent of women saw their best age-defying results using No7 Laboratories Line Correcting Booster Serum in a study that lasted eight weeks.

The No7 Laboratories Line Correcting Booster serum is a lot cheaper than the new Future Renew range from the brand, which claims to reverse signs of ageing and skin damage.

The serum, which is £42.95, became the fastest-selling No7 product ever in April, with one item from the Future Renew collection selling every two seconds on launch day – and over half a million sales in the first four weeks. It was 2023’s top-selling overall skin care product at Boots, followed by the matching Future Renew Day Cream SPF40 and Future Renew Night Cream.
