'Who are they polling!' CPAC women lash out at Trump poll saying he's unpopular with them

Many women who attended the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) this weekend in National Harbor had very strong opinions on former president Donald Trump’s polling among female voters.

According to a Quinnipiac University poll released earlier this month, 58 percent of women nationwide said they would support President Joe Biden, while only 36 percent said they would support Trump.

Quinnipiac University polling analyst Tim Malloy said in a statement earlier this month: “The gender demographic tells a story to keep an eye on. Propelled by female voters in just the past few weeks, the head-to-head tie with Trump morphs into a modest lead for Biden.”

While Biden leads with the white suburban women demographic, female voters at CPAC on Friday said that those poll numbers are “not true.”

Karen Sowers, one attendee at the event, said exclusively to Daily Express US: “I cannot believe that that is true. I’m ashamed of suburban women if that is true.”

Sowers added: “I just pray every day that women of faith and are raising families and care about the future of our country come out and vote for Trump.”

Jessica Andreae, director of operations at ProLove Ministries and a volunteer at CPAC, said to Daily Express US: “I don’t know who they’re polling because nobody has ever asked me my opinion.

“I would say I know a lot of women in Gen X, which is my generation, as well as my daughter’s generation Gen Z, that know that [Trump] is a strong, intelligent, and capable person, and that he does love his children and his grandchildren, that he does stand for family values, and we do support him.”

Many other women at the conference agreed and said that Trump is their choice for president because he has “power.”

Karen Siegemund, who was at CPAC for the American Freedom Alliance, said to Daily Express US: “[Trump] is who they are most scared of, which tells you the power that he has, and the rest of the globe will fall without America standing strong and the only candidate who will stand strong is Donald Trump.”

CPAC continues through Saturday, when Trump will make a speech at the event before South Carolina’s Republican primary against Nikki Haley.
