One of the biggest surprises of free agency for the Jets was kicker Nick Folk leaving and signing with the Falcons.
Folk was perhaps the most consistent player on the team last year.
Now they are going to have to find a replacement.
They have Cade York and Lenny Krieg on the roster, but GM Darren Mougey is surely going to bring in more competition and maybe that happens late in the draft.
Michigan’s Dominic Zvada is considered the top kicker in this draft.
Austin McNamara had an outstanding year at punter, so there is not a need there. The Jets are also set at the returner spot with team MVP Isaiah Williams and Kene Nwangwu back.
