Wetherspoon has announced a menu shake-up starting from next year. The pub chain, which has around 770 pubs in the UK and Ireland, will offer customers a range of food and drink deals.

As part of the chain’s sale, pubs from January 2 until January 16 will offer a discount to certain parts of the menu.

Meanwhile, this same offer applies from January 3 until January 16 for those living in Scotland.

The food on sale includes a burger meal deal, which also includes chips and a soft drink, for £4.99 and £6.52 with an alcoholic drink.

Customers can choose items including a 3oz American burger, 3oz classic beef burger and a Crunchy chicken strip burger.

There is also the breakfast deal which costs £2.99 and includes free refills of coffee, tea, hot chocolate or any soft drink. This also includes the same price for any breakfast muffin, any breakfast wrap and any breakfast butty or roll.

There are vegetarian options for each of the burger and breakfast deals.

Some of the drinks on sale include pints of beer starting from just 99p. Customers can get their hands on Worthington’s for 99p, Ruddles Best, Greene King IPA for £1.29, Belhaven 80 Shilling at £1.49 and Doom Bar for £1.49.

Meanwhile, Coldwater Creek wine will set customers back at £2.49 for a 250ml glass.

The price applies to a range of wine manufacturers including Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Rosé and Merlot.

There is also a low-alcohol and alcohol-free range starting from £1.49 each. This includes Guinness 0.0 percent (538ml), 0 percent cocktails, Gordon’s pink gin 0.0 percent (single measure, served with a mixer), Corona Cero (330ml), Stella Artois Alcohol-Free (330ml)

Soft drinks such as Pepsi Max, Pepsi Max Cherry, R White’s lemonade are priced at £1.49 each. Free refills on coffee, tea and hot chocolate are just £1.29 each. However, these are not the only deals customers can get hold of in January.

According to Wetherspoon’s website, it reads: “Also in January, customers can continue to save on autumn deals, which have been extended.

“These include Bud Light (pint), Stowford Press (pint), Au Vodka (single measure, served with a mixer) and XIX Vodka (single measure, served with a mixer) for £1.99 each; Carling (pint) and Coors (pint) for £2.99 each, in the majority of pubs.”

Price and participation of the January sale may vary from pub to pub.
