Wedding guests in tears after man waits 20 years to make confession to his brother

Wedding speeches are known to tug at our heartstrings but one man’s speech at his brother’s wedding had guests crying for an entirely different reason.

In a TikTok video that has since gone viral, posted by @talijoyphotography, the best man revealed a secret about a paintball incident that he’d kept hidden for 20 years.

As a child, the unnamed man wanted to join his older brother David (the groom) and his best friend Mark for a game of paintball.

When they refused, he decided to throw some of Mark’s paintballs against the neighbouring house.

The camera then focuses on the groom, whose face falls as he realises what his brother is confessing.

He added: “So I bring this up 20 years later as a wedding gift to him for closure that I am the one that threw those paintballs.

“So thank you for letting me watch TV,” he finished, causing the room to burst into laughter and applause.

Reddit users found the sibling confession hilarious when it was shared on the site, with one person commenting: “He’s been thinking about it daily for 20 years lmao.”

A third said: “You can tell from his groomsmen’s reactions too that this is a mystery that has haunted him for his entire life lol.”
