We found shockingly cheap tickets to see Paul Simon live in 2026

“Cecilia” might break our heart but, thankfully, she’s keeping the bank intact this year.

After doing a bit of digging, our team found surprisingly cheap tickets to see Paul Simon on his summer 2026 ‘Quiet Celebration Tour.’

And, yes, that includes his two New York shows.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats for his Friday, July 3 gig at Bethel’s Bethel Woods Center for the Arts was $75 including fees on StubHub.

Prices start at $96 including fees on StubHub for New York City’s Forest Hills Stadium on Wednesday, July 8.

As for his other concerts, some tickets are going for as low as $64 including fees on StubHub.

Not a bad price to see one of the most timeless singer-songwriters of the 20th century.

All shows come in support of Simon’s 2023 record “Seven Psalms,” which features his wife and collaborator Edie Brickell.

According to Set List FM, on the first leg of the tour last year, the Rock Hall of Famer — who had suffered from hearing loss and retired from performing live in 2018 before strategizing with Stanford Initiative to Cure Hearing Loss to devise a plan where he could take the stage again — begins his shows by performing the solemn album in full.

Then, following a brief intermission, he returns to the stage and delivers his most indelible fan favorites like “Graceland,” “Homeward Bound” and “Me and Julio Down By The Schoolyard,” “The Boxer” and “The Sound of Silence” among others.

“…for maybe the first 60 seconds of the show, you may be struck by how Simon’s voice sounds a bit more fragile, at this age…and then after that brief period of adjustment, you forget about it,” Variety wrote in a review of a July 2025 Orlando concert.

“…you never have to worry about him missing any notes.”

Paul Simon on “SNL”

Simon and Sabrina Carpenter opened “Saturday Night Live’s” 50th anniversary show with a nearly five-minute rendition of his seminal tune “Homeward Bound” in February 2025.

Accompanied just by an acoustic guitar and a pair of microphones, you can hear their poignant, triumphant duet here:

Paul Simon new music

On May 19, 2023, Simon released his 15th solo studio album “Seven Psalms.”

The unconventional record — which allegedly came to him in a dream — is a single 33-minute track made up of seven parts.

“I envisioned ‘Seven Psalms’ as one long thought, combined with sounds powerful enough to make the thought come alive,” he said.

For our money, the record is a soft, spiritual departure for the sensitive hitmaker. His unmistakable voice is as powerful as ever but there’s a real deep feeling here, one of an artist trying to make a final thesis statement. “Seven Psalms” is simple, lo-fi and a worthy listen for even the most fair weather of fans.

And, while, yes, the album is quite heavy, “My Professional Opinion” is a jaunty, tongue-in-cheek tune that has traces of Simon’s playful classics “Me and Julio Down By The Schoolyard” and “Cecilia” in its DNA if you squint hard enough while tuning in.

If you’d like to hear the stirring, acoustic offering, you can find “Seven Psalms” here.

Paul Simon band

According to Consequence, here are the artists that took the stage with Simon last spring and summer:

Caleb Burhans (viola), Jamey Haddad (percussion), Gyan Riley (guitar), Mick Rossi (piano, keys), Andy Snitzer (saxophone), Nancy Stagnita (flute), Mark Stewart (guitar), and Eugene Friesen (Cello). They added that “Steve Gadd and Matt Chamberlin will alternate on drums.”

As noted above, Simon’s wife Edie Brickell joined him on vocals.
