Watch out Sky, BT is offering you premium TV and Netflix for just £1

Yes, you really can get full access to Sky’s most premium channels and Netflix for just £1. That’s all thanks to a new deal from BT’s EE service with the telecoms provider currently offering the option to add its TV package to broadband bundles for just £1. That means you’ll pay just £27.99 per month for basic internet access along with Netflix and over 150 channels such as Sky Atlantic, Sky Showcase, Sky Crime, Sky Witness, Sky Max and Sky Documentaries.

There’s also an EE box included as part of the bundle.

Now, you’re probably wondering what the catch is? The £1 deal is for the first 6 months of the plan, and you have to sign up for a 24-month deal. That means costs will rise after the initial period.

Here’s how the deal works out.

First 6 months – £27.99 – then £46.99

Of course, users will also have to face the usual yearly hikes, which means that by 2027, the price will be £58.99 per month.

If you’d rather just stick with Sky, then the firm currently has its lowest price on the Stream box with Netflix, Sky Atlantic, Discovery+ and 300Mbps broadband speeds.

Although it doesn’t include as many channels as the EE deal, the cost is £35 per month and no upfront fees to pay.

That’s based on a two-year deal.

More content can be added to this plan, but it does get more expensive. For example, add Sky Sports, and the price will increase by £20. Pop Sky Cinema on, and you’ll pay another £10.

One final deal worth looking at comes from Virgin Media.

The company is currently offering its Bigger Combo plan for £34.99 per month. This deal features 360Mbps broadband and over 200 channels including Sky Showcase HD, Sky Witness HD, Sky Max HD, Sky Comedy HD, Sky Sci-Fi HD, Sky Arts HD.

Once again, this is a 24-month contract and prices will increase during the term.
