Watch out Sky and Freeview, there’s another smart new way to watch TV for free

For those not in the know, Freely beams totally free content into homes via a broadband connection rather than an aerial or satellite dish. It also offers a full TV guide, the ability to go back in time and even pause live telly. The only thing you need to watch Freely is a compatible TV with app pre-installed.

There are already loads of models on the market, and now there’s even more choice thanks to Hisense confirming that it is bringing the Freely platform to its range of portable laser projectors. Yes, this means Freely can now be taken to any part of your home without needing a massive screen.

The update includes devices launched in 2024 and 2025 and means those owning one will get even more things to watch.

Hisense was actually the first manufacturer to partner with Freely, which is owned by Everyone TV, from its inception.

Now the brand’s full range of TV and Laser products in the UK are integrated with this free-to-view service.

Here are all the projectors that are compatible with Freely.

Models include the Hisense PX3TUK Pro and PT1TUK, along with the PL2TUK, C2TUK, C2TUK-ULTRA, C2TUK-PRO and M2TUK Pro.

Speaking about the update Robert Andrews, Head of Strategy & GTM at Hisense, said: “We’re delighted to announce our extended partnership with Everyone TV, which now includes our award-winning Laser products.

“With this new integration, we’re now able to provide our valued Laser customers with an industry-first entertainment offering, giving them access to all their favourite TV and on-demand services. The combination of our exceptional large screen Laser products and the renowned Freely platform gives us a truly unique and market-leading offering.”

And Jonathan Thompson at Everyone TV added: “Hisense has been a valued partner since the beginning of Freely, and we’re delighted to see our collaboration expand even further with this latest update.”
