Descenders publisher No More Robots is getting ready to reveal new information about the original game and sequel.
Dubbed Descenders Day, the publisher is holding a special live stream to showcase the two games.
The event kicks off at 5pm BST UK time on the afternoon of July 21. You can watch the Descenders Day live stream in full by clicking play on the YouTube embed below.
As part of the event, No More Robots will unveil more about the next big Descenders update, which is described as the biggest yet.
The publisher will also announce a release date for the upcoming sequel, which adds new downhill sports to the mix.
No More Robots explains more: “From the teams at No More Robots and RageSquid, Descenders Day is a one day only celebration packed full of big reveals, giveaways, and downhill hype.
“There’s a livestream you won’t want to miss, and yes, we’re finally dropping two huge pieces of news: The biggest Descenders update to date and the release date for Descenders Next.”
While the original Descenders tasked players with surviving downhill runs on a BMX, the sequel adds snowboards to the mix.
“It’s time to conquer the world of extreme sports,” reads the official description. “This is Descenders Next.
“Grab your snowboard and tackle the steep, snowy slopes, or tear up the harsh, lush terrain with your mountainboard! Feel like taking on the challenge with a squad? Match up with your friends and Descenders players all around the world, and take on the tracks together! The mountain is calling – will you master it?”
The game is said to be Steam Deck Verified, which means you can play it in handheld mode when it makes its debut.
