Call of Duty fans are counting down to the release of Season 4 Reloaded in Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
The Season 4 Reloaded update has a July 2 release date on PS5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
According to an Activision blog post, the Season 4 Reloaded update has a 5pm BST UK release time. That’s 9am PT for fans living in the US.
The Season 4 Reloaded update adds a lot of exciting new features to Warzone, including the eventual release of a Cel-Shaded version of Rebirth Island.
The Cel-Shaded Rebirth Island will be available in the coming weeks, complete with a colourful new visual style.
Other new features include the ability to call in Care Packages for extra support in Warzone.
Calling in a Care Package will give players to earn two new gameplay items, including the Hand Cannon and Door Barricade.
The Door Barricade allows players to lock down positions by fitting a barricade to a closed single or double door. According to Activision, only the most severe bombardment will breach the heavy duty locks.
Elsewhere, the Hand Cannon is said to deliver devastating shots with a slow rate of fire.
Players can also take advantage of the new Search and Destroy Contracts, which see squads attempt to plant a bomb on a Buy Station and defend it from attackers. If successful, squads will earn a “Fire Sale discount from Buy Stations”.
Elsewhere, the Loot Master Perk sees players gain more loot from supply caches. It will spawn additional item and boost chances of finding Tacticals and Lethals, cash, Field Upgrades, Killstreaks, and other high-tier gear.
Activision will also add more modes to Warzone Season 4 Reloaded. This includes the limited time mode Havoc Royale, which sees 44 players drop into specific areas of Verdansk, each with a special gameplay modifier.
These modifiers can impact the player, environment or gameplay. Examples include the ability to perform super human jumps.
In addition to new modes and gameplay features, fans will also be able to purchase new items from the in-game store, including Beavis and Butthead operator skins.
