Call of Duty fans are counting down to the release of the Season 2 Reloaded update in Black Ops 6, Warzone and Zombies.
The big new Call of Duty update has a February 20 release date and a 5pm GMT UK launch time.
Available for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC, the new content includes additional multiplayer maps for Black Ops 6, as well as Perks, events and guest appearances.
Indeed, one of the more exciting new drops is the launch of the TMNT crossover in Call of Duty.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Moshpit sees players compete in games of Team Deathmatch, Domination, or Hardpoint, all with special TMNT abilities and scorestreaks.
Scorestreak abilities include the ability to vanish in smoke as Splinter, gain stealth perks as Leonardo, hack enemy equipment as Donatello and gain unlimited Shuriken as Raphael. Michelangelo, meanwhile, can drop a Pizza Box for your team. Players who eat a slice gain double damage and regain health.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will also join Zombies with Cowabunga Cranked. Zombies also gets The Tomb – Directed Mode, which grants players extra guidance and round cap limitations when taking on the Main Quest.
Back in Multiplayer, fans can also expect two new maps, as Grind Ooze and Bullet Strike joins the roster.
Featuring an outdoor Half Pipe, indoor skate ramp and skate store, Grind Ooze returns from Black Ops 2. It’s a medium sized core map for 6v6 modes.
Bullet Strike, on the other hand, is a brand new map that’s on the smaller side with 2v2 and 6v6 action.
Activision explains more: “Sev and Rogue Team deploy to a high-speed bullet train to neutralise a key enemy target.
“Keep your eyes sharp when moving up and sweeping the carriages; the automatic sliding doors may reveal an incoming enemy at a moment’s notice.
“Climb up to the roof of the train to feel the whipping wind and marvel at the landscape flying by. Be ready to defend your spot up top and then drop back down behind the enemy line.”
It’s pretty quiet on the Warzone front, with few new additions to speak of, barring the release the new Low Profile Perk. Low Profile improves movement speed while crouched, prone and downed.
In addition to new content, the Season 2 Reloaded update makes various gameplay tweaks and quality of life improvements. Full patch notes will be available closer to the 5pm GMT launch on February 20.
