Tesco shoppers are being warned they have just days left to snap up a bargain deal on wine and Prosecco.
The supermarket is currently offering 25 percent off six bottles of wine and sparkling wine, including Prosecco, to Clubcard members.
The offer is valid on bottles of wine over 200ml, which cost £5.50 or more before the discount – or £7 in Wales, as well as bottles already on offer.
Shoppers have the option to mix and match bottles and will see the discount applied automatically at the till after scanning your Clubcard.
You’ll get the 25 percent off when shopping both online or in store, but you will have to pay a delivery fee on online orders. This is priced between £2 and £7 depending on the time slot, or you can pay up to £1.99 to collect in store.
Martin Lewis’ MoneySavingExpert (MSE) has warned that the deal will be ending in days, with shoppers facing a deadline of Monday, December 2, to get the discount. Online shoppers should also note that you’ll need to have your order delivered by this deadline to get the 25 percent off.
So if you’re keen to stock up on a few bottles of fizz in time for Christmas, you’ll have to be quick to snap up the discount.
Some of the offers available in the deal include a bottle of Tesco Finest Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, priced at £8.50, Plaza Centro Prosecco, priced at £7, and Hardy’s VR Pinot Grigio White Wine, priced at £5.50.
The offer is not available in Scotland, in Express stores, or as part of Tesco’s Whoosh same-day home delivery service.
It also excludes the Wine Route range, boxed wine and Wine by the Case, and shoppers are limited to a maximum of 36 bottles per transaction.
If you don’t have a Clubcard you can register for one online for free. You can earn Clubcard points for every £1 spent at Tesco and these can be turned into vouchers, with every 150 points giving you £1.50 in Clubcard vouchers.
These remain valid for two years and can be doubled in value when redeemed with one of Tesco’s 100 Reward Partners, including Disney+, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, ASK Italian, Pizza Express, the RAC and Cineworld.
