An “unexploded bomb” has been handed into police, with cops scrambled and road closures in place. Merseyside Police said at around 2.40pm today (January 12), a member of the public walked into Wallasey Police Station on Manor Road with a suspected WWII bomb.
Police were scrambled, and Manor Road has been closed as a precaution while the device is examined. The police station where the unexploded device was handed in is not currently closed, and enquiries remain ongoing.
