A striking photo of a Los Angeles police officer has sent social media into a frenzy, with commenters playfully begging, “Please come arrest me.”
Officer Parks melted hearts after the Burbank Police Department shared a photo of him responding to a Feb. 13 call involving two adorable French bulldogs.
“During a call for service, Ofcr Parks was greeted by two lovely Frenchies! He could not resist petting, holding & and snapping a photo with them,” read the caption of the department’s Instagram post.
Social media users swarmed the comments, focusing less on the pups and more on Officer Parks, who cradled one dog as the other made a mischievous cameo in the background.
By Tuesday morning, the post had skyrocketed past 200,000 likes and drawn more than 3,000 comments, the majority of them swooning over Officer Park’s good looks.
“I need a pat down,” one user wrote.
“Arrest me but make it sexy,” another said.
“I committed a crime, please come arrest me,” added a third.
“I identify as a dog if Officer Park wants to pick me up, too,” chimed another. Someone else joked, “Ooof, and he has handcuffs.”
