A man was killed on the ritzy streets of Beverly Hills after a lunatic driver beat him with a metal object and ran him over, dragging his body as horrified witnesses looked on, police said.
Cops were called to the scene shortly after 12:30 p.m. Friday after receiving calls about an assault with a weapon near Wilshire and San Vicente boulevards, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The victim and attacker had been beefing before the suspect bashed him with a metal object, police said.
The alleged killer, identified as Christopher Cornelius, 54, then ran the man over with the victim’s own car, ABC 7 reported.
Graphic video circulating on social media appeared to show the brutal attack, with witnesses in the background heard gasping in terror.
Cornelius, of San Bernadino, was arrested on murder charges and has his bail set at $2 million.
Police said Cornelius has an “extensive criminal record,” ABC 7 reported.
