Ultimate iPad arrives in UK today with one upgrade Apple won’t currently match

Anyone in need of a new tablet will probably head straight to an Apple Store and pop an iPad into their shopping basket. That’s no surprise with the US firm’s range of portable devices offering a premium experience, superior designs, pin-sharp displays and very simple set-up. Thanks to the addition of the new M-branded processors, the iPad Air and iPad Pro models also offer laptop-style performance, which makes them ideal for both work and play.

These are very tough tablets to topple, but the team at Chinese brand OnePlus is hoping its latest gadget will offer an impressive Android alternative. The latest OnePlus Pad 3 has just gone on sale in the UK today and comes packed with features including the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite processor from Qualcomm.

There’s also a 13.2-inch 3.4K ultra-vibrant display, superfast charging and a massive battery that should mean it lasts the longest of long-haul flights.

Want to know more about this device? Read our full OnePlus Pad 3 review here.

It’s worth noting that this is not a budget tablet with prices starting from £529 for the 256GB model – that’s only just cheaper than the iPad Air.

However, to make things seem a little more enticing for consumers, OnePlus is running some very tempting promotions that Apple won’t currently match.

Firstly, those who buy one before the end of July will be able to get double the usual storage for free. That means the £599 512GB variant can be yours for just £529 – that’s a £70 saving.

Next, there’s a free gift including a standard case, SUPERVOOC 80W Dual Port Power Adapter Kit or digital stylus worth up to £99.

Other ways to get money off include a student discount and £50 when you trade in another device.

You can see all of the deals at OnePlus.com.
