Dramatic clips have shown an ammunition depot in Russia’s Bryansk region in flames after a series of Ukrainian drone strikes in the early hours of this morning.

Ukraine’s Defence Forces launched a series of attacks on the facility belonging to Russia’s 1060th Material and Technical Support Centre in the Bryansk region, hitting critical supply points and triggering a series of secondary detonations.

According to Ukraine’s General Staff, the attack targeted what was previously the 120th arsenal of the Russian Ministry of Defence’s Main Rocket and Artillery Directorate.

Coordinated drone units, in tandem with other Defence Force branches, executed the operation early this morning, reportedly resulting in at least eight powerful explosions and two distinct fire points at the site.

As of 6am, fires continued to rage at the Bryansk depot as authorities assessed the damage.

A statement carried on Telegram said: “The Defense Forces of Ukraine do not stop destroying the military infrastructure of the Russian invaders.

“At least eight explosions were recorded.

“The results of objective control indicate the presence of at least two ignition points on the territory of the military unit and signs of secondary detonation.

“As of six o’clock in the morning, a strong fire continued at the facility in the Bryansk region.”

It added: “The results of the damage are being clarified.

“The joint successful combat work of all components of the Defence Forces on important targets of the Russian Armed Forces will continue.”

The attack on Bryansk came shortly after a massive overnight drone offensive on Moscow and its surrounding region in the early hours of November 10, which ignited private properties and vehicles and caused substantial damage across the city and in surrounding areas.

Ukrainian authorities have underscored that these coordinated operations reflect the ongoing commitment of Ukraine’s Defence Forces to target strategically important Russian military sites.
