Writing on Telegram, Saratov Governor Roman Busargin said: “In Engels, as a result of the UAV attack, about 30 private and summer houses in several SNTs were also damaged.
“The regional security department is already working on the scene. Some residents have sought medical help.
“The district administration has been tasked with reaching out to every citizen whose property was damaged. Find out what kind of assistance is needed in order to work out the issue of financial support.
“For safety reasons, due to the fire on the territory of the airfield, the evacuation of residents of the territory of the SNTs adjacent to the facility is underway. All emergency services are on site.”
