UK and US launch a fourth wave of missile strikes against a dozen Houthi targets

The United States and Britain have carried out a fourth round of strikes against the Houthis in Yemen Saturday, in response to the recent surge of attacks by the Iranian-backed militant group on commercial and naval vessels in the Red Sea, DoD officials said.

The strikes include at least 18 Houthi targets across eight locations in Yemen, including those associated with “underground weapons storage facilities, missile storage facilities, one-way attack unmanned aerial systems, air defense systems, radars, and a helicopter,” according to a press release.

This marks the fourth time the US and UK have carried out a joint operation to launch air and missile strikes against Houthi targets in Yemen since January 11.
