The chances of any team signing free agent wide receiver Tyreek Hill might be completely gone now.
His ex-wife, Lakeeta Vacaro Hill, took the podium for Day 1 of her civil trial against Tyreek in Miami and revealed during the trial’s livestream the shocking details of him allegedly punching her in the stomach while she was pregnant with child in July 2024.
“The first time he struck at my stomach and punched it and I saved myself,” Lakeeta said at the podium with tears coming down her face. “He was like, ‘I don’t want the baby.’”
Lakeeta claimed that after he confronted her about the baby is when he took a swing at her and she made an attempt to block it and protect the unborn child by moving her hand in the direction of her pregnant stomach.
“It was probably the worst of all these abuse times just because he grabbed my hair, ripped it out, throwing all my things. And obviously I was vulnerable; I was pregnant, and he treated me like I was like a man,” Lakeeta said.
During the livestream, Lakeeta claimed that Tyreek was attacking her for 30 minutes, and went though her purse, destroying items in it.
“That was a moment I honestly didn’t know what to do,” Lakeeta said. “… He wanted me to go out and hangout with his friends after that and go out to dinner for his family. And I told him I didn’t want to go.”
Lakeeta said that after she took a shower and things settled, about an hour after the incident occurred, she decided to go to the event but was silent the whole time.
She mentioned that she told his grandparents about what happened, and they dismissed her.
Lakeeta filed for divorce in April 2025, a day after cops responded to their Florida home while an alleged assault was in progress.
Tyreek has been speculated to possibly sign with NFL teams that are in need of a receiver, including the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
