WASHINGTON — President Trump is warning the Houthis against launching further deadly attacks against Saudi Arabia and suggesting that he may ask Turkey to help with the Iran-backed terror group.

Asked whether he would ask Turkey’s president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to hit the Houthis, Trump told a reporter: “I might do it.”

“I have a lot of respect for the president of Turkey,” Trump said Tuesday. “President Erdogan, I think, would do as I ask.”

🇺🇸🇹🇷🇾🇪 Trump says he might ask Erdogan to help hit the Houthis in Yemen.

“I might do it. He is a great friend of mine.”

With NATO’s second-biggest army, Turkey would be quite the partner to bring along.
