A tree fell on a woman and partially crushed multiple cars in the Bronx on Memorial Day, cops said.
The tree came down after several days of rain and soggy conditions, injuring a 49-year-old woman walking near East 176th Street and Clay Avenue in Mount Hope at around 1:30 p.m., according to police.

The woman was left with a slew of injuries, including a gash to the head as well as multiple fractures to her right arm and right leg.
First responders rushed to the scene after someone called 911 and brought the woman to St. Barnabas, where she was listed in stable condition Monday evening.
The tree was “saturated” with water, officials said, and also damaged multiple cars when it fell.
Memorial Day saw roughly 2 inches of rain soak the city, concluding a three-day stretch of on-and-off precipitation.
