Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City have already been busy bringing in fresh talent during this summer’s transfer window. The three clubs will be desperate to kick on during the 2025/26 campaign after experiencing vastly different fortunes last time around.
United, who finished 15th in the Premier League last season, have added Matheus Cunha to their squad and are said to be closing in on Bryan Mbeumo, while champions Liverpool are in pursuit of Milos Kerkez after snapping up Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong. City, who finished 13 points adrift of Arne Slot’s side, completed deals for Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Rayan Cherki and Marcus Bettinelli in time for the Club World Cup.
Arsenal’s main summer transfer target appears to be Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi, while their north London rivals Tottenham could be set for a fecund summer after appointing Thomas Frank as manager.
And Chelsea will surely continue spending the cash as they look to compete for honours on all fronts next season.
