The white council vehicle, emblazoned with ‘Thanet District Council Civil Enforcement’, was seen overhanging the parking restriction lines by about three feet on Boundary Road last Friday (20 Jun).

Local residents were quick to voice their outrage, with one named Natasha quipping: “Who tickets the ticketers?

Another resident, John, expressed his disbelief, exclaiming: “Three feet, oh my f*cking God. What an appalling crime.”

A third added: “P*ss take.”

Civil Enforcement officers in the seaside town have a variety of roles, including issuing parking tickets, enforcing parking rules, checking pay and display machines, and inspecting car parks. Thanet District Council has been approached for comment.
