Ange Postecoglou has admitted he will be out of the country by Monday amid speculation over his Tottenham future.
The Spurs boss was presumed to be on his way out until his stock took a huge boost with Wednesday’s win over Manchester United.
Chairman Daniel Levy has a big decision to make over the coming days.
But Postecoglou won’t be in the country while it’s made, as he explained after the victory in Bilbao: “I’ll go back to my hotel room, get my family and friends together, open up a nice bottle of scotch, have a couple of quiet ones, get ready for a massive parade on Friday, play Brighton on Sunday.
“And then Monday I’ll go on holiday with my beautiful family because I deserve it. And que sera sera.”
