Originally priced at £59.99, these statement evergreens can now be purchased for £29.99.
The retailer says the tightly rounded box spheres are excellent for framing a set of steps, a doorway, or a path. Alternatively, they can be used to create a focal point in a garden, patio, courtyard, terrace or on a balcony. The topiary balls provide glossy green leaves all-year-round, making them the ideal addition to any outdoor area.
The topiary balls have a total height of 50cm on arrival, including the planters they come in. Gardening Express suggests placing them in a partially shaded area to help them reach their full potential.
The retailer also sells special Buxus feed and stainless steel topiary shears that can be added to the order to help keep the Topiary Buxus balls in pristine condition. As this type of bush is slow-growing, it won’t require clipping often, making it easy to look after.
Wowcher is another retailer selling Evergreen Topiary Buxus Balls with Planters for a discounted price. This set of two plants has been reduced from £78.99 to £34.99.

They explained: “Communication on delivery of our order was disappointing and only after we contacted the company after 15 days were we told about the poor quality batch they had received. However, we were offered alternative options or to hold on for a new supply.
“Our topiary balls arrived in good condition and look fantastic in their pots… We are grateful that Gardening Express put so much focus on quality and we certainly are impressed with our trees – worth the wait for sure. This little blip in communication will not put us off using Gardening Express in future to be assured of quality and value for money.”
