The broadcasting spotlight for Super Bowl LIX is firmly on commentator Tom Brady and his jaw-dropping $375 million contract. FOX, which has the rights to broadcast the Super Bowl for the second time in three years, will also feature its dynamic NFL Sunday team, including Curt Menafee, Howie Long, Terry Bradshaw, Rob Gronkowski, Jimmy Johnson, and Michael Strahan.

While studio hosts and analysts like Bradshaw may not earn as much as live broadcasters such as Brady, Tony Romo, and Troy Aikman, who are renowned for their in-game analysis and seasonal travel, they still command hefty paychecks.

Bradshaw, a four-time Super Bowl winner and 1978 MVP, made the switch from the pitch to the studio with CBS before moving to FOX in 1994.

His exact earnings remain confidential, but it’s believed he takes home around £1.6million ($2m) per year, with a net worth estimated at £36.2m ($45m).

Bradshaw’s wealth often becomes a source of light-hearted banter among the FOX panel, with playful suggestions that the network’s ‘Super 6’ sweepstakes might be funded by his substantial fortune. Michael Strahan, meanwhile, manages a busy schedule, balancing his role on Fox NFL Sunday with his commitments on ‘Good Morning America.

Celebrity Net Worth reveals that former New York Giants linebacker Strahan earns an impressive £13.7m ($17m) from his media roles.

Strahan certainly went out on a high after the 2007 season, retiring from the NFL with his bank balance looking as robust as his playing record. His career concluded with a substantial seven-year contract that netted him £37.2m ($46.2m), a testament to his prowess on the defensive line where he ranks sixth in all-time sacks and boasts the impressive accolade of the 2001 Defensive Player of the Year.

In other news that shook the sports world, Gronkowski, a four-time Super Bowl champion, caused quite a stir when he rocked up to Fox Sports in 2019. But his foray into broadcasting was short-lived; by 2020, he had thrown off the shackles of retirement to reunite with quarterback Tom Brady at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, bagging a cool £6.4m ($8m) for that season.

Upon signing with Fox Sports, Gronkowski couldn’t hide his excitement: “I’m extremely excited to be joining FOX Sports. For the past 25 years, they’ve offered viewers top-notch NFL programming from the field to the booth to the studio.” Yet, the finer details of his deal with the broadcast giant remained a closely guarded secret.
