Tom Brady said he’s “gonna fix my mouth on Fox” after he filled up the swear jar while on the call with Kevin Burkhardt for the Cowboys’ 37-20 win over the Commanders on Sunday.
Brady said “Oh s–t” when he reacted to Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels injuring his elbow before halftime — before he called a bomb from Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott to CeeDee Lamb an “absolute piss missile” in the fourth quarter.
“I fully expect you to beep out those ‘piss missiles,’ OK?” Brady said on Thursday’s installment of his “#AskTom” segment for NFL on FOX. “You can’t say that, because that swear jar is getting way too full in my house. My kids are getting way too happy with me filling up that jar.
“… I’m actually kind of embarrassed. There’s a lot of grandmas at home that probably aren’t very happy with my mouth on Fox. I’m gonna fix that. Sorry. I apologize.”
Brady did not directly address his “Oh s–t” moment, which came when he saw a replay of Daniels dislocating his elbow.
“Excuse me,” Brady immediately said. “Was not expecting to see that.”
Washington does not plan to put Daniels — who dealt with a similar injury last season — on injured reserve and does not think he needs surgery, general manager Adam Peters said Friday.
The Commanders host the reigning Super Bowl champion Seahawks on Sunday, while the Cowboys play the Ravens in Brazil.
Brady and Burkhardt are on the call for the Bills-Chargers game in Buffalo at 1 p.m. ET this Sunday.
