Donald Trump Jr. has “concerns” following Tiger Woods’ DUI arrest last week, since the famed golfer is dating his ex-wife Vanessa.
The former spouses share five kids together and People reported that a source told the outlet on Monday that “the recent situation raised some concerns” for Don Jr.
The source also told People that president Donald Trump’s eldest son is “supportive” of Woods and Vanessa’s relationship, “especially when it comes to the kids.”
“He’s just thankful Vanessa and the kids weren’t involved,” the person told the outlet, while also adding that Don Jr. “knows Vanessa can make her own decisions, but they’re a team when it comes to coparenting.”
A separate report from TMZ pushed back on the notion that he was concerned, with sources telling the outlet that he was not worried about Woods being around his kids and that “nothing about the situation has set off alarm bells for him.”
Woods crashed his Land Rover on Friday afternoon as he attempted to pass a truck and clipped the trailer on it, causing his vehicle to flip on its side.
Police said Woods showed “signs of impairment” and was arrested after refusing a urine test, leading to DUI charges and a refusal to submit to a lawful test. Woods passed a breathalyzer test.
Woods was alone in the vehicle at the time of the crash and on Saturday, The Post reported that the Secret Service agents are “certainly not letting Tiger Woods – even without the DUI” drive the kids.
President Trump, who is friends with Woods, reacted to the incident after he arrived in Miami on Friday.
“I feel so badly. He’s got some difficulty. There was an accident and that’s all I know. Very close friend of mine. He’s an amazing person, amazing man. But some difficulty,” he told reporters.
Vanessa is also reportedly upset with Woods and issued him an ultimatum following the car crash
“He has to get things under control, or she’s not going to stick around,” the Daily Mail reported a source telling them.
Woods and Vanessa were first romantically linked in March 2025 and went official on social media shortly thereafter.
