A move that’s “slowly becoming a cult classic” is now available to watch on Amazon Prime, with critics saying it is an “edge-of-your-seat” thriller. The Last Stop in Yuma County is a 2023 American neo-Western crime thriller film produced, written, and directed by Francis Galluppi in his feature directorial debut.
It stars Jim Cummings, Jocelin Donahue, Richard Brake, Faizon Love, and Michael Abbott Jr. The film follows a traveling salesman stranded at a rural Arizona rest stop who is thrust into a dire hostage situation by the arrival of two bank robbers with no qualms about using cruelty or cold, hard steel to protect their bloodstained fortune. It is now available to view on Amazon Prime for £9.99. In North America, The Last Stop in Yuma County grossed $41,520 from 45 cinemas during its opening weekend, finishing 29th in the box office rankings. In total, the film grossed $94,344. It received a near-perfect 97% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, with an average rating of 77% by viewers.

The Last Stop in Yuma County was a prizewinner at the Sitges International Film Festival, specifically taking home the Best Film award in the Orbita section of the festival.
Sam Raimi, director of the 2002 to 2007 Spider-Man trilogy, lauded the film, which led him to approach Galluppi to direct a new film in the Evil Dead franchise – Raimi directed the first three films.
