Netflix viewers should be prepared to add another series to their lists as the platform has recently dropped a new mystery thriller on to their site. A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is a British television series that is based on the novel of the same name that was originally published in 2019. The series follows one schoolgirl’s investigation into a murder case that was opened five years prior.
The series’ synopsis reads: “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder follows high school senior Pippa Fitz-Amobi as she investigates a closed murder case for her final project. Five years earlier, popular student Andie Bell was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend, Sal Singh, who then died by suicide. Pippa, however, suspects Sal might be innocent and delves into the past, uncovering dark secrets and dangerous truths that someone in the town desperately wants to keep hidden. As Pippa investigates, she puts herself and those around her in danger.”
The series was originally released on BBC iPlayer and was widely well-received with viewers describing A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder as one of the “best shows I’ve ever watched”.
