A new ranking of the world’s best cities for food has highlighted Africa’s growing influence on the global culinary map, with Cape Town and Lagos securing spots in the Time Out’s Best Cities for Food list.
The annual roundup, which surveys locals and travel experts on dining culture, food quality, and variety, placed Cape Town, South Africa in fourth place and Lagos, Nigeria in seventh. Both cities are praised for their rich blend of tradition, innovation, and cultural diversity at the table.
