It is located less than a mile from the beach and promenade and it could be a great option for families looking to relocate closer to the sea or buy a holiday home. However, it needs some significant rennovations.

Another property available is a three-bedroom semi-detached house on Dryden Road for £125,000.

It’s a short 10-minute walk to the beach and the house has plenty of living space.

Similarly, a three-bedroom semi-detached house on Manor Road priced at £134,950 is another bargain.

Just 0.8 miles from Fleetwood’s seafront, it provides easy access to the town’s attractions.

For those looking to spend a little less, there’s a three-bedroom terraced house on Westfield Avenue listed at £105,000.

It’s located near the town centre and within walking distance of the beach.

Fleetwood was once a leading hub of Britain’s fishing industry but it faced a severe decline as a result of the ‘Cod Wars’ in 1976, which led to the collapse of its main industry and the loss of hundreds of jobs.

The Cod Wars were fishing rights’ disputes which raged between the UK and Iceland from the 1950s until the 1970s.

But despite things looking up, Terry Rogers, the former mayor and chairman of Fleetwood Town Council, admitted last year that some people might still hold “unwarranted” negative views about the town’s notorious drinking culture.

Talking to LancashireLive he called Fleetwood the “best in the North West” and explained the secret is how cheap everything is.

He said: “Post-Covid, people were so impressed by our beach areas and promenade and how cheap everything is in comparison to other towns, they’ve come back.”

Julie Lee, a long-time resident of Fleetwood and a café owner, agreed with Mayor Rogers’ comments.

She described the renovated seafront and promenade as “absolutely amazing” and encouraged people to visit and experience its charm.
