Which is why high street and online retailer TGJones has selected some of the best 2025 titles to put under the Christmas tree this year.

From murder mysteries and non-fiction books to best-selling children’s book titles, this selection of books is sure to make fantastic gifts for your loved ones this Christmas.

First up is best-selling author Richard Osman’s fifth instalment to this record-breaking series, ‘The Thursday Murder Club’ comes ‘The Impossible Fortune’ (£11.00 RRP £22.00). This title will be the 30th book in the series, where the titular character Jack Reacher makes three stops during his day. The first is a coffee shop where a stranger brushes past him, and he checks to see if anything has been taken, yet nothing is missing. When Reacher takes out cash from his pocket later on, He discovers a handwritten note asking for his help…

Give the gift of good food inspiration this Christmas with Jamie Oliver’s latest cookbook, ‘Eat Yourself Healthy’ (£15.00 RRP £30.00). This cookbook features 120 delicious recipes that are easy to prepare at home. The book is jam-packed with healthy and nutritious recipes that are perfect for those who want to make satisfying, healthy meals full of flavour—the ideal Christmas gift for those looking to kickstart their 2026 with a feeling of well-being.
