Taylor is widely considered the greatest darts player of all time, and is worth an estimated £7.87 million.
In comparison, Littler, 17, reportedly has a net worth of just over £1 million, while Dutch darts legend Michael van Gerwen, a three-time PDC World Champion, is worth around £6.29 million. Together, their combined total still falls short of Taylor’s.
Taylor’s remarkable career saw him dominate the sport for decades. The Englishman won a record 16 World Championships and 214 professional tournaments, including 85 major titles. His achievements still remain unmatched in the world of darts.
Known as “The Power,” Taylor set records that might never be broken. He won eight World Championships in a row from 1995 to 2002, reached 14 consecutive finals between 1994 and 2007, and spent 13 years as the world number one.
Taylor also hit 11 televised nine-dart finishes during his career, including two in the same match – another record.
Taylor was also a key figure in the creation of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) in 1993 after splitting from the British Darts Organisation.
His performances and fame helped raise the profile of the PDC, and he won the organisation’s Player of the Year award six times.
Although Taylor retired in 2018, he made a brief return at the World Seniors Darts Championship in 2022 and 2024.
