This pretty part of the UK is home to a scenic walk ending at a popular pub, making it the perfect place to explore on a weekend.

The Shenington Country Walk in Warwickshire stops through The Bell Inn.

Warwickshire is a region full of stunning scenery and countryside views.

The route starts at Upton House, and from here you’ll wander through the pretty countryside.

It is a 7-mile circular, dog-friendly walk that, according to the National Trust, can take around three to four hours to complete.

Along the walking route, you will see a village pub derived from the 18th-century, The Bell Inn is located in the idyllic village of Shenington.

The pub first opened in 1700 as an English inn to provide a place for locals and travellers to eat and drink.

One visitor on Tripadvisor said: “After a weekend in Warwick, and a visit to Upton House, we chose the Bell for Sunday lunch.

“The six of us all had the roast beef, and we all agreed that it was one of the best Sunday roasts we had ever eaten! Absolutely gorgeous food, and plenty of it. Friendly staff in a lovely village.”

Another penned: “First time been to this pub. Thought book as had friends visiting. Heard good things. We weren’t disappointed! Beautiful old pub… staff really friendly and welcoming too. The food was amazing! Best Sunday roast ever!”

Shenington is located in North Oxfordshire, it can be found near to Alkerton which is another beautiful neighbouring village in the area.

It is around five miles from Banbury and is known for its incredible scenery and peaceful atmosphere.
