The Kooks are making their return to stages around the country this year, and they’re going as big as possible. The band, who have been absent from the charts for some time, recently confirmed the release of their seventh album, Never/Know, which will be dropped on May 9, 2025. This will be their first entry since 2022, and they’ve confirmed some massive shows to celebrate, as well.
The Kooks have just announced their biggest shows to date, taking place on the Never/Know tour kicking off this October. There, the band will play arena shows in Cardiff, Brighton, Newcastle, Birmingham, London, and Manchester’s Co-op Live for the first time. Tickets are due to be released on Friday, April 25, 2025, but we’ve got all the finer details below.
This is The Kooks’ first tour in a few years, and fans will no doubt be ecstatic by their return.
But no one is more excited than the band’s frontman Luke Pritchard.
Speaking out about the tour, he said: “We’re told how bad everything is at the moment; everything’s s**t; the world’s s**t. And I was like, I’m just going to refuse to not let these be the best years of life, because I’ve got a young family.
“It’s about me getting to a balanced life; having a family. It’s a love song about someone making me fall back in love with myself.”
