More and more Brits are choosing to travel to one beautiful country in Asia known for its incredible beaches.
The Philippines is made up of more than 7000 islands but most of its population lives on just 11 of them.
Manila is the capital of the Philippines and those travelling around the country tend to island-hop.

One traveller who visited White Beach on Tripadvisor said: “A true paradise, the colors of the water are unbelievable.
“Sunset on this beach is one of the most awesome views ever, very romantic. This beach, from early morning until late night has always something to offer and a particular charm.”
Other places to see include Puerto Princesa Underground River. This unique underground river is one of the largest navigable sites of its kind – it is located on Palawan island.
It has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and you can take a scenic boat ride through it.
A visitor on Tripadvisor said: “I would rate my Palawan trip five stars because of the incredible experiences it offered.
“The natural beauty of the Underground River and Cowrie Island was breathtaking, and the variety of activities kept me engaged throughout. The welcoming locals and vibrant atmosphere made the trip truly unforgettable.”
Another must visit location is to see the Banaue Rice Terraces which were created more than 200 years ago. The lush green landscape is a must-see in the area.
To get to the Philippines from the UK, you can fly direct from London Heathrow to Manila which takes around 14 and a half hours.
