Sal is the best option for a sun-fuelled, laid-back holiday. If beaches are your thing, then Boa Vista is the one for you. Santo Antão and Santiago are the best options for hiking and exploring. If you want to experience Cape Verdean culture at its height, São Vicente is the perfect destination. Fogo is the best location if trying local produce is what you are after, it also has stunning views and dramatic scenery.
Throughout each year, there are many festivals and celebrations being held in Cape Verde, including the São Vicente Carnival, which is held on Shrove Tuesday.

While each of the islands offer stunning beaches for you to rest and relax on, they also allow for adventure with activities such as horseback riding, kite surfing, quad-biking your way around the island or even just crusing down the coast.
