The Cotswolds are renowned for their picturesque, honey-colored limestone villages, quaint market towns, historic churches, country estates, and rolling fields. It lies across the boundaries of several counties: mainly Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire, and parts of Wiltshire, Somerset, Worcestershire, and Warwickshire.
