A Texas family was left terrified after their doorbell camera captured a man in a Joe Biden mask standing at their front door at night eating a banana.

The “scary” encounter unfolded around 8 p.m. Sunday at the family’s home in Watauga, about 10 miles outside Fort Worth, when their Nest doorbell camera picked up the stranger, WFAA reported.

The barefoot man in the Biden mask casually walked up to their door and opened up his jacket to reveal a T-shirt with “FREEDOM” emblazoned across the chest — appearing similar to the one Charlie Kirk was wearing when he was assassinated at Utah Valley University in September 2025, the video shows.

The stranger then peeled the banana while nodding his head and leaned in toward the camera — giving an eerie close-up of the latex mask of the former commander in chief — and tapped the camera twice, appearing to try to ring the doorbell.

He took a bite of the banana, seemingly staring straight into the camera, before turning and walking away.

The family reported the encounter to Watauga police and turned over the doorbell footage, but police found “no evidence that a criminal offense had occurred,” Chief Jim Lewis told the outlet.

Officers combed the neighborhood but couldn’t find the man, Lewis said.

“Although the individual’s choice of attire and snack may have raised a few eyebrows, neither appears to have violated the law at this time,” Lewis said.

“And while we can’t explain the costume, the banana, or the apparent political identity crisis, we can confirm that being bizarre is not, in itself, a criminal offense.”

The department has since been made aware of social media posts from other residents reporting similar sightings of the masked man, WFAA reported.

Police said they had no other footage available for release.

Lewis added that “the Watauga Police Department takes these types of reports seriously, however, and we encourage residents to continue reporting suspicious activity, even when the circumstances are a little bananas.”

The video of the strange visitor has sparked a wave of confused reactions online.

“This is scary and so confusing at the same time,” one user commented on the video shared on WFAA’s Instagram.

“Why’s he eating a banana,” asked another.

“Don’t play with people’s doors. Nothing good will come from it,” another warned.

The Post has reached out to Watauga police for additional comment.
