Tesco shoppers with a Clubcard can bag 1,000 bonus points before August | UK | News

Tesco shoppers with a Clubcard are being urged to bag 1,000 bonus points before August by making a simple exchange. Clubcard holders can earn points every time they shop at Tesco, with every £1 spent earning one point. A total of 100 points gives you £1 to spend in Tesco stores, but Clubcard vouchers are worth double their value when redeemed with one of the supermarket’s Reward Partners.

As such, shoppers can get more value from their vouchers by exchanging them with more than 100 different partners which include Disney Plus, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, ASK Italian, Pizza Express, the RAC and Cineworld. And Martin Lewis’ Money Saving Expert (MSE) is urging Clubcard holders to do just that before August to bag 1,000 bonus points, which is equivalent to £10 of vouchers.

Tesco is offering 1,000 bonus points to anyone who exchanges £5 of Clubcard vouchers into a Days Out Reward Partner Code by Tuesday, July 29. So if you have 500 or more Clubcard points in your account all you need to do is convert these into a £5 Clubcard voucher and then exchange this for a £10 Days Out Reward Partner Code by the deadline to get the bonus points. It means that you can essentially double what you started with as 1,000 bonus points are worth twice the value at £10.

According to MSE, you don’t actually need to book or attend anything once you have the Reward code as just exchanging the voucher will trigger the 1,000 bonus. But if you are interested, the days out include Thorpe Park, Woburn Safari Park, Cadbury World, Chessington World of Adventures Resort, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Treasure Trails and The London Eye, among many others.

Once your voucher has been exchanged Tesco will then add the 1,000 bonus points to your Clubcard account by October 19. When the points have been converted into vouchers they will remain valid for two years and can be used to get £10 off your food shopping, or £20 off any Tesco Reward Partner.

MSE says: “Until Tuesday 29 July, Tesco is offering 1,000 bonus Clubcard points for anyone converting Clubcard vouchers into a range of Days Out Reward Partner code redemptions

“These are good value as your 500 points are worth £5 when spent in-store at Tesco, or they get you £10 of partner vouchers to redeem against tickets for places such as Blackpool Pleasure Beach, The London Eye, Chessington World of Adventures and many more.

“Even if you don’t want a day out, just do it with the minimum £5 voucher as you get back 1,000 bonus points – double what you started with, as that can then be converted into a £10 voucher.
