Summer holidays can be a hectic time of year as you juggle work alongside family responsibilities. Trying to find time amidst the chaos to nip to the shops and stock up on groceries can be a tricky task. However, Tesco has announced a change to its home delivery service which will make planning meals a little easier this summer.
For the first time, all customers can now access eight weeks’ worth of home delivery and Click+Collect slots over the summer across the UK, instead of the usual four weeks. If planning that far ahead seems impossible for you, don’t panic.
Tesco also offers same-day delivery too, or click and collect slots subject to availability – and this summer, it has removed the charge for same-day deliveries.
In a third step to try and help busy families, Tesco has also added over 15,000 additional Click+Collect slots from stores near popular holiday destinations across the UK.
This means it will be easier than ever to pick up the essentials on route to your holiday home or campsite.
Rob Graham, Tesco Online Director said: “Summer holidays are a busy time for all of us as we juggle family life.
“From days out to BBQs and picnics, we’re helping customers across the UK make the most of the summer, delivering everything they need to enjoy at home or during their holiday stay.
“This is a great time to plan ahead and let Tesco take some of the stress away from those summer activities.”
