Tennis LIVE: Emma Raducanu dealt dangerous setback as Katie Boulter sent vile threats | Tennis | Sport

It was a positive day for the British players involved at Queen’s Club on Monday with Dan Evans and Jacob Fearnley both securing wins. The former pulled off an impressive upset to beat Frances Tiafoe, who reached the quarter-finals of the French Open earlier this month. Fearnley, meanwhile, breezed to a straight-sets victory over Alex Bolt.

Emma Raducanu was supposed to be playing in Berlin this week but has withdrawn from the tournament as she continues to manage a back injury. The young Brit, who played doubles with Katie Boulter at Queen’s, will be desperate to return to full fitness ahead of Wimbledon. She will not be seeded at SW19, meaning she could face a top player right off the bat.
