A Tennessee festivalgoer was paralyzed from the waist down after a man fell from a tree and landed on her during a concert in Kentucky over the weekend.
Jamie Ulshoffer suffered a severed spinal cord in the freak event at the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville on Friday, WHAS11 reported.
Her husband Conor told the outlet that the man fell on Jamie – who doesn’t remember the frightening ordeal – during a performance by the band Knocked Loose.

“I turn around and see her on her back … Then everyone said some dude fell out of a tree,” Conor recounted.
Authorities rushed to the Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center and transported Jamie to the University of Louisville Hospital, where she continues to recuperate — but is uncertain if she’ll be able to walk again.
“I can’t feel my feet. Can’t do anything that I used to,” Jamie told the outlet.
The festival’s production team told WHAS11 they were unable to comment due to patient privacy.
It’s unclear if any criminal charges were filed against the man who fell on Jamie.
“He shouldn’t have been up there. Definitely after it just rained, too. Stupid decision. You did this, but I’ll forgive,” Jamie said.
A fundraiser has been started for the Tennessee native, who continues to be stuck in the Bluegrass state, as she said she continues thinking of her children back home.
“I’m not going to be able to play with the kids,” Jamie said.
