Sydney Sweeney in legal hot water over Hollywood sign bra stunt

Legal trouble could be looming for Sydney Sweeney after her brazen lingerie stunt at the famous Hollywood sign.

A video showed the actress sneaking up an LA mountain under the cover of darkness and scaling the “H” of the iconic sign while clutching a handful of bras.

A production crew captured every second of the blonde bombshell’s climb, which sources told TMZ was a publicity stunt for her lingerie brand.

She could now be facing possible charges of trespassing and vandalism, the outlet reported.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which owns the intellectual property rights to the sign, said the stunt was not authorized and that it had no prior knowledge of the act.

“Anyone intending to use and/or access the Hollywood Sign for commercial purposes must obtain a license or permission from the Hollywood Chamber to do so,” President and CEO Steve Nissen said in a statement.

He added that the Chamber did not grant a license or permission of any kind to the production involving Sweeney, and that no one associated with the project even sought approval.

As of Tuesday morning LAPD had no reports regarding the incident, ABC 7 Eyewitness News confirmed.

As part of the stunt, Sweeney and her team strung a clothesline of lingerie across the legendary letters, turning Hollywood’s most famous symbol into a sky-high underwire display.

The crew left behind four or five bras as souvenirs after taking the majority of them down once shooting had wrapped.

Her production company seemed to snag a permit from FilmLA to shoot the Hollywood sign, but did not obtain approval from the actual owner, TMZ reported.

The actress is not shying away fro the controversy.

Sweeney posted her own video of the stunt on Instagram on Monday, linking to her new brand SYRN by Sydney Sweeney.

Apparently it’s all about hyping her new lingerie line — a Jeff Bezos-bankrolled operation. The Amazon founder’s investment is the same connection that scored Sydney an invite to his and Lauren Sanchez’s star-studded wedding bash last summer.
