A trio of teenagers was among five people arrested in Oakland and charged for a violent broad-daylight robbery on Beverly Hills’ swanky Rodeo Drive in late 2024.
The brazen thieves — who were caught on camera fleeing the scene during the Nov. 23, 2024, attack — were busted more than a year later hundreds of miles away in their hometown of Oakland, police said.

Four of the five suspects — 18-year-olds Jaeyden Duncan, Wendel Stevenson and Kingelijah Stevenson, as well as 22-year-old D’Angelo Tedla — were charged with robbery and assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department. A fifth, Kingikirah Stevenson, 31, was charged with robbery.
During their attack, the mask-clad suspects struck a man in the head with a gun and threw a woman to the ground before kicking her repeatedly, police said. They stole handbags, cash and even a victim’s engagement ring before making their escape in a white rental car driving by one of the suspects.

Video of the robbery captured a wild scene outside a Bulgari store, showing the alleged attackers dressed in all black running down the block. Screams could be heard as two people were seen kneeling over another individual, possibly a victim, who appeared to be in extreme distress.
Over the past few months, detectives in Beverly Hills and officials with the US Marshals Service Task Force worked the case that led to the suspects’ arrest.
