'Stunning' 71-year-old grandma's youthful looks spark fierce debate over money

They say money can buy you a lot of things – but can it buy you a youthful appearance?

Those who have had successful cosmetic surgery and dentistry will argue it most certainly can.

But others say although pricey interventions can help you along with a younger look – how you live your life is the ultimate arbiter of a youthful glow.

At least that’s the argument of mum and fitness Miami TikToker Dana Kaye who shared a clip of her youthful looking mum to her channel @danalynnkaye18.

She captioned the clip that’s been viewed almost 660,000 times: “My mom is 71 years old today.

“She’s heading out to dinner for her birthday.

“I’m so proud of her.

“She has lived a healthy lifestyle and now at 71 she’s functioning like she’s 40!”

Many of her 68,000 followers were quick to applaud her mum, who they said looked “amazing”.

One said she looked “freaking amazing!” and another said that the grandmother was “stunning and classy.”

But others claimed that it was all down to money.

One said: “Oh y’all have money. I know money when I see it.”

“I can even smell it x,” said another adding: “Money well spent.”

Dana snapped back at the trolls posting a follow up video which revealed the secrets to her mum’s youthful appearance – which she says is merely down to a healthy lifestyle.

She said: “The video of my mother in the green suit coming out of her fabulous closet got thousands of views, thousands of comments – the majority of the comments positive, amazing people like just the sweetest things about my mom.

“And yes it’s obvious that she is a successful woman in her beautiful bathroom in front of her beautiful closet.

“But there were so many comments on here being like ‘oh yeah this is just because she has money’.”

She adds: “I know a lot of wealthy people who don’t look that great um as they’re ageing.

“Money does not buy class, money does not mean that you’re going to have a healthy lifestyle, money doesn’t mean you’re going to lift weights and be strong, money doesn’t mean you’re going to take care of yourself, that you’re not going to be a heavy drinker, that you’re not gonna be a smoker.

“Money can allow you to do a lot of things in a healthy direction or the unhealthy direction.”
