Reports on social media suggested a “triple stabbing” had occurred in Stratford, London, although police have not confirmed this.
Broadway in Stratford is shut in both directions near Stratford Bus Station between A118 Great Eastern Road and A112 Tramway Avenue due to a police incident.
Several buses have been rerouted in the area and University of East London Buses warned its students there was “very heavy traffic” in the area.
It said on social media: “Stratford Broadway is closed in both directions causing very heavy traffic around the area causing our timetable to be running late. Sorry about the delays.”
