Various parts of the UK are currently being battered by Storm Amy, with weather warnings being given as heavy rain and winds of up to 100mph are being experienced.
Scotland is currently facing power outages, mainly in the Highlands which have been worst affected by weather. Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks have stated that the network was working to restore power on Saturday (October) morning for more than 60,000 people.
Travel chaos, such as widespread delays to trains and flights have also been caused by the first named storm of the 2025/2026 season.
The weather has led to many ‘victims’ of Storm Amy taking to TikTok to show how it has affected them.
One person, based in Blackpool, said the storm was “battering” the region, as they described the waves as “insane”.
Meanwhile a tree was seen falling down in Portadown, Northern Ireland, as the extreme weather hit.
Other people shared clips of their trampolines and tables being blown away in the storm too.
This included user @chatterboxcharlie25, who was seen telling the camera in a video: Guys, so not only has the trampoline gone for flying missions, not online is there apples all over my garden, but my gas BBQ is about to take off.”
She then asked: “Where’s my table? Can anyone tell me where has my table gone?”
Charlie then revealed she did actually know where her table was, adding: “You’re not going to believe where it. Now this was a solid, brand new table, I got the seating set a few weeks ago. Are you ready?”
She then showed off her table outside her house, saying it had flown over the fence. Viewers could see it was smashed to pieces as she said: “So the glass has come off the top. What the actual?”
Charlie then said she “strongly recommended people stay in today”, adding: “If you live in an area where there’s loads of houses, don’t be going out. I’m absolutely fuming over my table, but I have got a new set.”
Another person based in Scotland also showed how their trampoline had flown over a fence and said they were “wrestling” their chickens due to the storm.
